How do I know what the depth of my fitted sheet should be?
You need to measure the height of your mattress and consider any toppings to the bed -- a mattress topper or triple sheeting. For example, if you have a mattress that is 10” high, we would recommend a 12” deep fitted sheet. However if other items will be on top of the mattress, a 15” deep fitted sheet would be more appropriate.
How do I measure for a bedskirt?
Measure from the top of the box springs to the floor. Typically, bed skirts have a 14” drop, but you want to ensure that drop works for you.
The sides of my mattress are always showing. Why doesn't my duvet hide the entire mattress?
If your mattress is deeper than 12", you not only need a jumbo size fitted sheet, but you may also need a over-sized sized duvet and duvet cover to fall over the split between where the mattress sits on the box spring.
How long should my linens last?
This will depend on the quality of the material, how you care for your linens and how much you use them. Please refer to our Care Instructions for Bed Linens for more information.
What can I do about my flat pillows?
Fluffing and shaking on a daily basis, and keeping them in their protectors will extend the life span of your pillows. Our pillows are designed to hold their shape for several years. We generally recommend replacing down/feather pillows every 2-3 years, as they do soften over time.
Is there such a thing as “wrinkle-free” sheets?
Yes. Polyester or chemically treated. Our sheets are treated with a no-iron finish which will last the life of the sheets. One of the benefits of poly/cotton blended sheets is wrinkle resistance.
Do I need to use a mattress pad?
Yes! It keeps your mattress clean and provides a softness between you and the mattress, as well as preserves the longevity of your mattress.
